CANBERRA FREEZE

The Freeze had a solid year 2018 season and will be looking to contest a spot in the 2019 Grand Final.

Consisting of a mixture of local Canberra athletes, and interstaters, they have the capability to go all the way this season.

Strong receivers Adelaide Dennis, Abbie Dawson and Hannah Monty are all returning to the Freeze in 2018. These women are extremely fast and will trouble most AUL defenses. Joining them in 2019 are Cath O’Neill from the Brisbane Breakers, and new players Erin Wallis and Rachel Turton.

Matt Dowle, 5 time Australian Dingo, is the sole returning male from the 2018 squad. Gavin Moore joins from the Sydney Suns and Calan Spielman from the Brisbane Breakers. The roster is completed by new players Andrew Jackson, Scott Perry and Tim Lavis. The Freeze are one of the tallest teams in the AUL and will be looking to use this to their advantage.

Coaches Lorna Barr and Pete Hemphill have the pleasure of coaching an experienced team featuring a mixture of players from the ACT and interstate.
